Communal Areas That Residents Are Proud Of

Entrances, stairwells, lifts, corridors and bin stores are part of how people feel about where they live. We provide dependable cleaning that keeps shared spaces welcoming, safe and well presented.
We also look after student accommodation in Cambridge, cleaning the communal areas as part of a regular contract.
We clean the shared areas of managed buildings for managing agents and property owners. We do not offer domestic cleaning for individual homes.
We work with managing agents and property owners, with clear schedules, regular inspections and a quick response when something needs attention. We can also support housing associations and residents’ companies.
For customers on a regular cleaning contract with us, we can also clean a room when a tenant moves out, so it is ready for the next person. We do not offer this as a one-off service.
An emergency number manned 24/7 by a contracts manager, and local management ready to respond quickly when you need extra support.
We clean properly every time, so you don’t pay for periodic deep cleans of the areas we look after. Additional work outside your contract, such as extra cleaning you ask for or cleaning after building work, is quoted separately.
Your contracts manager writes a cleaning schedule for your building and agrees it with you: the entrances, stairwells, lifts, corridors and bin stores, the daily and weekly tasks, the chemicals and equipment, the consumables and any site rules. It is completely bespoke.
Every team member, including relief cover, is inducted to every item on your schedule. A manager stays with them for the whole first shift, and they sign an induction form to confirm. New cleaners also follow our STAR+ training, with a check on day 2 and assessments at weeks 2, 6 and 12.
A manager visits and audits your building at least every four weeks, scoring every item on your schedule. For a new contract, and for any new team member, we visit weekly for the first six weeks. The lower a site’s grade, the more often we visit, and if we spot a problem with standards we visit sooner.
Our Business Services Director, who is independent of the operations team, carries out random full contract reviews: repeating the site audit to check the manager’s marks are accurate, checking the schedule, stock and equipment on site, reviewing six months of records, speaking to team members and asking you directly how we’re doing. Every review is scored, and our managers are rewarded on how well their sites perform.
Every new team member is trained and assessed on five elements:
Every item on the cleaning specification is scored from 0 to 4.
We audit ourselves in exactly the same way. A routine audit of our own Derby office scores 135 individual items across eight areas.
